PTS Sports Coaches
Brett began his multisport career with a reverse sprint triathlon (5k run, 20k bike, 300m pool swim) in Kuwait while deployed in support of Operation Desert Thunder. Since then he has completed well over 100 multisport races from sprint to Ironman (Louisville x2, Lake Placid, Coeur D’Alene) including the 2008 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Brett began coaching in 2004 when he received his Level I certification from USA Triathlon, since then he has obtained Level II certifications from USA Triathlon and USA Cycling. His athletes consistently place at the top of their age groups as well as overall at local, regional, and national races.
Some highlights of his coaching career include the following:
- 1st place overall female Great Floridian Iron Distance triathlon
- 1st place overall female Florida Double Iron
- 2nd place overall Badwater Ultramarathon
- 1st place overall West Point Lake Olympic
- 1st place overall Clemson Sprint
- 5th place pro Ironman Florida 70.3 (3:58)
- sub 9 hour Ironman (Ironman Florida)
Brett is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University (B.S. Aerospace) and works as an Air Traffic Controller at Dobbins ARB, GA. He served 5 years in the US Army and is a graduate of Air Assault and Pathfinder School. He lives in Woodstock, GA with his wife Kate and two children (Lilly and Aaron). When not training or coaching for triathlon he enjoys watching college football, eating BBQ, and the occasional round of golf.

Holly graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and holds a Physical Education position in Fulton County, Georgia. Holly has always been an active athlete competing in basketball and volleyball before turning her attention to endurance sports. After running the Honolulu Marathon she was hooked and eventually rose to the challenge of triathlon. Holly has completed races from Olympic to Ironman distance, competing at the Lake Placid and Wisconsin Ironman races. Her new passion for running has also taken her to trails and running 50K’s. She is licensed by USA Cycling, USA Triathlon level II and Youth and Junior certified coach.
Holly wants to introduce kids to triathlon and instill solid fundamentals in all three sports. Her goal is in creating a fun and exciting environment in which kids can learn and train. She teaches the children to compete in a healthy and positive manner, and has watched many improve their skill, ability, and self esteem. She realizes that triathlon may be something they pursue and enjoy for the rest of their lives. Holly has coached talented young athletes on the USAT Junior Elite team as well as top ranked cross country runners.
As your coach, it’s my job to know the science of training and use it appropriately to help you reach your goals. We aren’t pro triathletes with unlimited time to train. We all have other commitments – families, children, work, school, etc. Together we’ll design a plan that takes into account your real life situation and that accomplishes your goal. Along the journey you will have an enjoyable and exhilarating experience training and racing.

Jack started his athletic career on the soccer field at age 3 and began running competitively at 8 years old in AAU and USA Track & Field. Jack continued to compete at high levels including premier soccer clubs and regional and national level club track meets at sprint distances. Jack earned All-State honors in both sports during high school and continued playing soccer at Division-I Saint Louis University where he studied Exercise Science as an undergrad. Jack went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating with honors in January, 2009.
Professionally, Jack is a clinical director for PT Solutions and specializes in orthopaedic and manual physical therapy with board certification in orthopaedics and advanced competency in vestibular rehabilitation.
Jack competed in his first triathlon in Sandestin, Florida in 2010 and has since raced many times over at sprint and Olympic distances. Currently Jack lives and works in Naperville, Illinois with his wife and son. Jack earned his USATLevel I coaching certification in April, 2012 and is training for half iron distances races. Jack also boasts having raced in Australia, in addition to his races state side.
Jack’s coaching philosophy stems from his work in rehabilitation with an emphasis on injury prevention and appropriate progression regardless of distance. Jack is familiar with training programs and annual training plans from sprint to iron distance races.
